EU fulfilment in Germany for UK and US brands.
Shipping single orders to EU customers from outside the EU means customs clearance on every parcel, longer delivery times and import charges your customers may not expect. Import your stock into the EU in bulk instead. We store it, pick, pack and send your orders from inside the EU, and you have one person to write to instead of a ticket queue.
The short version.
From the UK or the US, every parcel to an EU customer is an import: customs clearance, import VAT and carrier fees on each order.
Each delivery of stock is cleared into the EU once, as one shipment. From then on, orders ship from Hannover to EU customers within the single market, without customs per parcel.
Receiving, storage, picking, kitting, packing, shipping and returns. Everything under one roof in Hannover.
Every movement is booked by scan in our own in house warehouse system, and your customer portal login shows your stock at any time. With Shopify, stock levels sync to your shop automatically.
Built for small items and goods up to parcel size, single pieces up to a euro pallet.
A personal quote based on your order profile, usually within one working day.
Checked October 2026. Tax and customs rules change; your tax adviser confirms what applies to your business.
A small EU hub with a real person behind it.
Our own warehouse system
We do not run on off the shelf software. Our warehouse management system is developed in house and used by our own team every day. Every receipt, shipment, return and stocktake is booked by barcode scan, so the stock figure is always traceable. You get your own login to our customer portal and see your stock yourself, without having to ask. If you sell on Shopify, every change goes to your shop automatically: what leaves our shelves stops being available, what comes back is available again. Warehouse and IT sit under one roof here. If your shop needs something no standard system can do, we build it ourselves wherever possible.
Why a hub inside the EU
Since Brexit, a parcel from Britain to Germany, France or Italy crosses a customs border. The same is true for every parcel from the US. That can mean longer delivery times, unexpected import charges for customers and returns that cost more than the item. Holding stock inside the EU turns this into one import per delivery of stock, and every order after that travels within the single market. A parcel from Hannover to a customer in Germany, France or Italy also costs a fraction of what the same parcel costs from London or New York, with no customs fees added at the door.
Why Hannover
Hannover sits in the middle of Germany, with direct carrier connections across the EU. We are an owner-run logistics business and part of the worldwide Mail Boxes Etc. network. We ship with the major parcel carriers, and you always know who packs your orders.
Returns stay in the EU
Your EU customers return to Hannover, not across the Channel or the Atlantic. We check each return for condition and completeness, book items in good condition back into stock and keep faulty items separate so they are not sold again.
Getting your stock into Germany
Each delivery from the UK or the US is imported once: it is cleared into free circulation in the EU, with any duty and import VAT due on the shipment as a whole. A UK EORI number is not enough for this; you need an EU EORI number, and a business without an EU base usually works through an indirect customs representative, typically the forwarder or customs broker who brings your stock in. Once cleared, your stock comes to us, and every order after that ships within the EU.
VAT and product rules
Holding stock in Germany generally means registering for VAT in Germany. Sales to consumers in other EU countries can usually be reported through the Union OSS scheme; IOSS does not apply to goods already stored in Germany. Consumer products sold in the EU also need an economic operator in the EU responsible for product safety, and packaging must be registered in the German packaging register (LUCID). We check both with you before your first delivery. Your tax adviser confirms the VAT side before you start.

Frequently asked questions.
Do I need a company in the EU?
You generally do not need to set up an EU company to use our warehouse. You do need an EU EORI number and a customs representative for the import, a German VAT registration for selling from German stock, and an EU responsible person for product safety. Your tax adviser confirms what applies to your business.
Is there a minimum volume?
There is no fixed minimum. What matters is a regular flow of orders. We price your quote on your actual order profile.
Does it work with Shopify?
Yes. Stock levels from our warehouse management system sync to your Shopify store automatically, returns included. The sync is based on the product barcode. For other shop systems we agree the connection when we talk.
My products have no barcodes. Is that a problem?
No. If your products carry a manufacturer barcode (EAN/GTIN), we work with that. If they do not, we assign our own barcodes, print the labels and apply them when your stock arrives. You add the codes to your shop, and the stock sync runs on them just the same.
Can you also ship to the UK, the US and other countries?
Yes. Besides EU orders we ship worldwide, and export documents for non-EU destinations are prepared in our own office.
How does my stock get to Hannover?
By parcel or pallet freight to our hub in Hannover. We receive deliveries up to a euro pallet. Import clearance is handled by your forwarder or customs broker before the goods reach us.
Can you adapt the software to how we work?
Wherever possible, yes. Our warehouse system is developed in house and we have our own IT. If you need a particular connection, process or report, we talk it through and build what is feasible.
What goes into the price?
Receiving, storage space, picking and packing per order, packaging material, postage and returns handling. Your quote lists every item separately.
What does it cost?
Every quote is calculated individually: number of products, orders per month, sizes and destinations. You get it personally by email, usually within one working day.
