Export packing in Hannover: made-to-measure crates for machines, instruments and electronics, shipped from the same house.

We build export crates in our own workshop in Hannover and ship what we pack. A measuring instrument, a control cabinet, a pump, a server or a prototype gets a crate built to its dimensions, with foam, blocking and bracing where the weight sits, moisture protection where the route is long and a lid that customs can open and close again. Then we prepare the export documents and hand the crate to the carrier. One company, one invoice, one responsibility for the whole route.

01 · At a glance

The short version.

Crates

OSB and timber crates built to the dimensions of your item, with a base that takes a forklift, internal blocking and bracing, foam or air cushioning and a screwed lid.

Cartons and pallets

Double wall cartons with foam inserts for parts and electronics, strapped and stretch-wrapped pallets for mixed consignments, edge protection for everything that goes on a belt.

Sensitive equipment

Measuring instruments, optics, laboratory analysers, medical devices and electronics travel with vibration cushioning, moisture barrier and silica gel where the route needs it.

Heavy and awkward

Pumps, gearboxes, spindles and castings are blocked and bolted inside the crate so that the weight cannot shift. Sharp or oily parts are wrapped first.

Documents

Packing list per crate with dimensions and weights, commercial invoice, EU export declaration. The crate markings match the documents.

Where we collect

Hannover, Celle, Braunschweig, Wolfsburg, Hildesheim, Hamburg, Bremen, Bremerhaven and the rest of Lower Saxony. We pack at our workshop in Hannover.

02 · In detail

What good export packing does, and why we pack and ship as one job.

A crate is built around the item, not chosen from a shelf

We measure the item, decide where the load sits and where it must not touch the wall, and build the crate around that. Instruments and electronics are suspended in foam so that a drop on one corner does not reach the device. Heavy parts are bolted to the base or blocked with timber. The result is a crate that survives a forklift, a belt, a pallet jack and the customs inspector, and arrives looking like it left.

Packing and shipping from one company means one responsibility

When a packer packs and a forwarder ships, a damage claim turns into an argument about who caused it. We pack and we ship, with photos of the item before and after packing, so the responsibility for the route from our workshop to your door is ours. Transport insurance for the value you name is available on request and starts with your written confirmation.

Packing lists that match the crates

Each crate gets a number, its dimensions and gross and net weight. The packing list and the commercial invoice list the contents per crate with HS codes. Customs officers who can match a crate to a line on the list rarely open it; when they do, a screwed lid closes again without damage.

What we ask you before we pack

What the item is and what it is worth, so that packing and insurance match. Whether it contains batteries, oil, coolant or magnets, because that changes packing and paperwork. Whether it can be tilted, and whether it must stay dry. Destination and how it travels, because an air freight crate and a sea freight crate are not the same crate.

04 · Questions

Frequently asked questions.

Do you build wooden crates to measure?

Yes, in our own workshop in Hannover. Each crate is built to the item's dimensions with internal blocking, bracing and cushioning, and a base that a forklift can take.

Can you pack laboratory or measuring equipment?

Yes. Analysers, microscopes, optical and measuring instruments are packed with vibration cushioning, moisture protection and, on request, shock and tilt indicators, and shipped as express or air freight.

Do you pack on site?

We pack at our workshop in Hannover. Items that cannot be moved unpacked are a case for a specialist forwarder, and we say so before you order.

Do you only pack, or do you also ship?

We pack what we ship and ship what we pack. That is deliberate: it gives you one company responsible for the whole route from the supplier to your door.

Is the shipment insured?

On request. You name the value, we insure the route from takeover to delivery. The cover starts with your written confirmation.

What does packing cost?

Packing is quoted together with transport and documents as one figure, within one working day, based on the item's dimensions, weight, sensitivity and destination.
