Trade fairs · Hannover · after the show

Shipping samples, demo units and exhibits from Hannover Messe abroad: collected after the show, packed and cleared in Hannover.

The fair is over and the samples you bought, the demo unit a supplier gave you or the prototype your own team showed in Hannover has to reach your office in Dubai, Chicago, Singapore or Johannesburg. We collect at the exhibition grounds or at the exhibitor's company after the fair, pack in our workshop a few minutes from the Messe, prepare the export documents and ship by express or air freight. Based in Hannover all year, not just during the show.

The short version.

Fairs in Hannover

Hannover Messe, Agritechnica, LIGNA, EMO, IAA Transportation, Domotex and the smaller shows at the Deutsche Messe grounds. The same service applies to fairs in Hamburg, Bremen and Braunschweig.

What we ship

Product samples and purchased exhibits, demo and test units, prototypes, catalogues and marketing material, small machines and components up to a pallet.

Samples you bought or received

Goods that stay abroad are a normal export: commercial invoice with value and HS code, export declaration above the thresholds, origin statement where it helps.

Your own exhibits going home

Exhibits you brought in under an ATA Carnet or a temporary import go back with the carnet or the temporary import closed by the forwarder who brought them in; we handle collection, packing and transport.

Timing

Collection on the last day of the fair or during dismantling, packing in the following days, express in 1 to 3 working days to most countries. Dates are agreed in the quote.

Prototypes and confidential items

Crated in our workshop, photographed only for your file, shipped as express with signature on delivery.

Checked October 2026. Customs rules and carrier limits change; your quote states what applies on the day.

02 · In detail

Three situations after a fair in Hannover, and how each one is shipped.

You bought samples or a demo unit from an exhibitor

The exhibitor is often a German or European company that does not ship outside the EU, or will only do so in weeks. We collect at the stand during dismantling or at the exhibitor's company afterwards, with their delivery note. The goods are a normal export: we prepare the commercial invoice in your name with HS code, value and origin, file the export declaration where required and hand the shipment to DHL Express, UPS or FedEx. The exhibitor receives the exit confirmation for a VAT-free invoice.

You exhibited and the equipment goes back home

Exhibits that entered the EU temporarily, under an ATA Carnet or a temporary import entry, must leave again with the same documents so that no import duty becomes due. We collect the exhibits during dismantling, crate them in our workshop and ship them; the customs discharge of the carnet or temporary import stays with the forwarder or broker who handled the inbound movement, because the same procedure has to be closed; we give them our export reference. Parts you decide to leave in Germany, for example give-aways or sold units, are declared as a normal import by the recipient.

You need a prototype in Hannover sent to a customer or your plant fast

A prototype or an urgent demo unit is collected in Hannover as fast as the quote allows, crated with foam suspension and shipped as express with signature on delivery. The invoice states the nature of the goods and the value for customs; for prototypes that are not for sale we state that and the value for insurance separately. Where a prototype falls under export control, we check with you before it leaves.

Marketing material, catalogues and left-over stock

Brochures, display material and left-over give-aways are cheap to ship but tedious to declare. We consolidate them with other items from the fair, pack them on a pallet or in cartons and declare them on one invoice, so the whole lot clears as one entry at your end.

03 · How it works

  2. We collect

At the supplier, the plant or the fairground, with your authorisation where needed, across northwest Germany. Items are photographed on arrival in Hannover.

  3. We pack and declare

Made-to-measure packing or a wooden crate, export declaration with EU exit confirmation, commercial invoice with the right HS codes for the destination country's customs. You pay our invoice after packing, by card or PayPal.

  4. Delivery to your door

DHL Express, UPS or FedEx with tracking, insured on request for the value you name. Import duty and tax are collected by the carrier on arrival; our country pages tell you what to expect.

04 · Questions

Frequently asked questions.

Can you collect at the Hannover Messe grounds?

Yes, during the fair's dismantling days at the stand or at the exhibitor's company afterwards. Our workshop is in Hannover, a few minutes from the Messe.

Do you handle ATA Carnets?

We handle the physical collection, packing and transport of carnet goods. The carnet and its customs discharge stay with its holder and the forwarder who brought the exhibits in.

Can you ship samples I bought at the fair to the UAE or the USA?

Yes. Samples that stay abroad are a normal export. We prepare the invoice and the export declaration and ship by express; see our country pages for duty and tax on arrival.

How fast after the fair?

Collection on the last day or during dismantling, packing in the following days, express in 1 to 3 working days to most countries. Dates are agreed in the quote.

Do you ship to fairs as well as from them?

No. Our service is built around collection in northwest Germany after the fair. Inbound exhibits are a job for your forwarder.

What about Agritechnica, LIGNA, EMO or IAA?

Same service, same workshop. All of these take place at the Deutsche Messe grounds in Hannover.
