A company in Hannover, Braunschweig or Bremen has exactly the part, machine or product you need, but their answer is "we only deliver within Germany" or "ex works". BFF Logistics is the German address that solves this: the supplier delivers to us or we collect at their door, we pack for export, prepare the customs documents and ship to your address in the USA, UK, Gulf states, Asia, Africa or Australia. You deal with one company in Germany that answers in English.
The short version.
Companies and workshops outside the EU buying from German suppliers, dealers or online sellers who do not export; also engineers and service teams who need a part from a German OEM.
Either the supplier delivers to our address in Hannover (German domestic shipping, usually free or cheap), or we collect at the supplier in Hannover, Celle, Braunschweig, Wolfsburg, Hamburg, Bremen or elsewhere in Lower Saxony.
A buyer outside the EU cannot be the exporter on an EU export declaration. A German party has to file it. We do that for you, so the supplier can sell ex works and still invoice without German VAT.
Every item is photographed on arrival, with the delivery note. If something is damaged or wrong, you know before it leaves Germany, not after it arrives.
Weapons, militaria and goods that need an export licence we cannot obtain. Very large machines and vehicles we route to a specialist forwarder and tell you so in advance.

How buying from a German supplier works with a forwarding address in Hannover.
Order from the supplier as a domestic delivery
Place your order with the German supplier as usual and give BFF Logistics, Günther-Wagner-Allee 13-17, 30177 Hannover as the delivery address, with your name or order number as a reference. Tell us by e-mail what is coming. Within Germany the supplier ships by DHL, DPD, UPS or a pallet service and most of them do that without discussion. If the supplier prefers collection, we drive there ourselves anywhere in northwest Germany.
VAT: how the supplier can invoice without German tax
German suppliers add 19 % VAT on domestic sales. For an export delivery the supplier may invoice without VAT, but only with proof that the goods left the EU. That proof is the exit confirmation of the electronic export declaration. We file the declaration in Hannover, receive the exit confirmation from German customs and send it to you and to the supplier. Whether the supplier invoices you net from the start or refunds the VAT afterwards is agreed between you and the supplier; we supply the document that makes it possible.
We check, pack and consolidate
On arrival we photograph the goods and compare them with the delivery note. If you buy from several suppliers, we hold everything in Hannover and ship it as one consolidated shipment. Packing is done in our own workshop: cartons with cushioning for parts, wooden crates for machines, instruments and anything heavy or fragile, pallets for larger consignments.
Customs documents in your name
The commercial invoice names you as the importer, with the supplier's HS codes, values and the country of origin. For EU goods going to countries with a trade agreement we add the origin statement that lowers or removes your import duty. The export declaration is filed electronically in ATLAS, the German customs system, and the carrier gets the reference number so nothing waits at the airport.
Delivery and what you pay on arrival
DHL Express, UPS or FedEx deliver to your door with tracking; crates and pallets go as air freight or sea freight on request. Import duty and tax of your country are collected by the carrier or your customs broker on arrival. Our invoice covers collection, packing, documents and transport and is paid after packing, by card or PayPal, before the shipment leaves Hannover.

Frequently asked questions.
Can I use your Hannover address as a delivery address for a German online shop?
Yes, for business goods such as parts, tools, equipment and industrial supplies. Tell us in advance what is coming and from whom. We do not act as a general parcel forwarding address for consumer goods.
The supplier wants to sell ex works only. Is that a problem?
No. Ex works is the normal case. We collect, we file the export declaration as the German party, and the supplier gets the exit confirmation for a VAT-free invoice.
Can you talk to the supplier in German for me?
Yes. We arrange the handover, the pickup date and the paperwork with the supplier directly in German and keep you informed in English.
Can you collect from a private seller or a used machinery dealer?
Yes, anywhere in northwest Germany, as long as the goods are packable and legal to export. For large used machines we tell you in advance if a specialist forwarder is the better route.
How long can you hold goods in Hannover?
A few days to a few weeks while a consolidated shipment comes together is normal. Longer storage is possible and quoted separately.
Do you work with buyers in the Middle East, Africa and Asia?
Yes. We ship to the UAE, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, Nigeria, India, Singapore and Australia as well as to the USA, Canada and the UK. We answer in English and prepare the documents your customs expect.
